The Call Family

Thanksgiving Break

by on Dec.02, 2010

On Thanksgiving we woke up early to make Turkey Shirts. Avery was such a big helper. We lowered the ironing board as low as it would go so Avery could help with the ironing. She loved helping to iron the fabric to iron the pieces of the turkey onto the shirt.

Here is the finished product. I think they turned out really cute!

This was Kaden’s reaction when we showed him his shirt. He was so excited!

Our cute kids showing off their new shirts. As you can see in this picture, Kaden absolutely adores his big sister.

Avery loves Kaden so much.

When we were done taking pictures of the kids, Avery wanted daddy to take some pictures of just her with her curly hair(which Skyler styled).

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Great Grandma and Grandpa Christiansen’s house. It was a lot of fun to visit with everyone. After we ate we went around the table and said something that we are thankful for that happened this last year. I am thankful for both of my children and my amazing husband, especially that Kaden joined our family and if healthy. I am also thankful for all of my amazing friends and family members who have been so willing to help out with babysitting my children while I am working. I have been blessed with so many things this year,

The day after Thanksgiving we went on our annual trip to Temple Square. We had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen and then went to Temple Square to see the Christmas lights. We bundled Avery and Kaden up really well so they would not get cold.

Our family waiting for Trax to take us to Temple Square.

Nicole’s boyfriend, Jake, came with us this year. Avery absolutely adores him. He takes time to play with her and give her his attention whenever he is around. I just had to get a picture of him holding her.

Nicole, Jake, and Avery

Kaden loves daddy so much. “Dada” is Kaden’s favorite word; he says it all day.

We had so much fun. Avery was such a good girl all day long. We look forward to our trip next year!
