Halloween Night
by Janelle Call on Nov.30, 2010
Like most of you we celebrated Halloween on Saturday, October 30th, this year. We started the day with breakfast at Grandma Call’s house. We helped her move her furniture around because she got a new set for her family room.
Later that evening we had dinner at Grandma Christiansen’s house. She made yummy soup that we ate in pumpkin bread bowls. We then took some pictures of Avery and Kaden in their costumes before heading out to trick-or-treat,
Kaden dressed up as a monster.

After taking pictures we headed to Great Grandma and Grandpa Hutchings house. Great Grandma Hutchings kept giving Avery handfuls of candy. Avery was loving it! After vising there we headed back over to Grandma Call’s house to trick-or-treat. Because it was raining so hard that night we didn’t make it out to any other houses to collect any more candy. That was okay though because between the three houses we did go to Avery and Kaden filled over half of their baskets.
We had a fun night!
Avery’s Halloween Sing-In
by Janelle Call on Nov.29, 2010
For Halloween Avondale Academy, where Avery goes to preschool, held a parade and sing-in. I was able to switch work shifts with my teaching partner so I could be there to see my little girl. Here are a couple of the songs that they sang.
Isn’t she adorable!?!
Annual Halloween Party
by Janelle Call on Nov.16, 2010
Every year my Uncle Mike hosts a Halloween party at his house for the whole family. He recently move to Mantua so we had a long drive to attend the party this year. We had a lot of fun so it was worth the drive. When we first got there we went on a picture scavenger hunt. We had a list of things that we needed to get pictures of us doing. Our group got a late start because my parents car wouldn’t start, but when we got going we had a blast. I wish that I had some of the pictures to put on here, but they weren’t taken on my camera.
When we got done with the scavenger hunt we had hot chocolate and ate dinner. We played lots of Halloween games and had lots of fun.
Here is my cute family all dressed up. Avery and I decided to be witches this year and make matching hats. My Aunt Shannon made me a cute witch skirt a couple of years ago and this year I had her make Avery one to match me. Avery loved it. Kaden is my cute little monster. Skyler is dressed up as Fox Mulder from X-Files.

More of my little witch and my little monster. I just love to see how much Avery loves Kaden. He just adores her too.

Cute little boy!

We had a blast at the Halloween party! It is something we look forward to every year!
Cornbelly’s
by Janelle Call on Nov.14, 2010
We took the kids to Cornbelly’s again. Avery loved it. Aunt Lacey and Uncle Jake and Aunt Nicole and her boyfriend Jake came too.
Avery’s favorite part was the “Pumpkin Princess Playland”. In this area they have tons of princess dresses for the girls to come and try on. They also have little scarecrows that you can dress up in the princess dresses. There is a big pumpkin carriage and a castle bounce house.

Here she is dressing up as Princess Aurora. Isn’t she beautiful?!?

Here I am helping her get dressed.

They had this big area full of corn kernels for the kids to play in. Avery loved it. She laid down and asked me to bury her.

Kaden loved it too!

We went on a hayride around Cornbelly’s to look at their Jack-O-Lanterns. Avery loved sitting with Nicole and Jake.

We had a blast at Cornbelly’s this year and look forward to it again next year!
