The Call Family

The Saturday before Memorial Day we went to the Orem Cemetery, where Skyler’s dad is buried, with all of Skyler’s family. Skyler’s grandma read some exerts from his journal and a few letters that he had written and then we all wrote notes on balloons and let them up into the sky. We left the cemetery and went to Skyler’s aunt’s house. Relatives came from Wyoming and we had a lot of fun visiting with everyone and showing Kaden off.

On Memorial Day the pool across the street from our house opened so we decided to take Avery swimming. Kaden sat on the side and slept in his car seat the whole time! Avery was a little nervous about being in the water for a little while. Eventually she got used to it and would swim between us.

Skyler’s sister, Lacey, and her husband, Jake, came swimming with us. Jake didn’t want to get in the water. Avery kept calling him a wimp so he decided to get in.

Avery had so much fun! I just love the smile on her face!

Later that night we went to a park for a picnic and family night with my family. Skyler had a blast playing kickball and soccer with everyone. I sat on the side and watched!
