The Call Family

A few days ago Avery asked me for some “pink milk”. I pulled out a blue sippy cup and put the milk in it for her. She went on her way and was playing with her toys. The next day I realized that I didn’t know what had happened to the milk that I had given her. I didn’t think much of it, I figured I had put it in the dishwasher or something and had forgotten. Well, last night I walked into the kitchen and told Skyler that it smelled kind of funny in there. We figured it was just something from dinner. Then Avery came in and opened on of our cabinets and said, “Mom, I want this pink milk!”. I walked over to see what she was talking about and there sat the blue cup with pink milk in it from a few days earlier. Needless to say it was pretty disgusting! What made it even worse was that it had leaked into my cabinet and I had to scrub it to get it all off.

I got it all cleaned up and we went into the family room to watch a movie. Avery kept saying, “It was in there and it was yucky. Do you remember mom?”. She is so silly!
