New Years Eve
by Janelle Call on Jan.02, 2013
For New Years Eve this year we invited everyone over to our house for treats and games.

We had a blast playing games together. The favorite game of the night was Curses.

My mom had fun playing with the kids. She does not enjoy playing games very much, she would rather just watch.

Skyler, Landon, and Grandpa Christiansen playing Curses.

My sister, Nicole, her husband, Jake, and their adorable baby, Alice.

We had a great time. Thanks everyone for coming to enjoy the night with us.
Sledding
by Janelle Call on Dec.30, 2012
Uncle Jake and Aunt Lacey invited us to go sledding with them on Saturday.

Avery and Kaden had never been sledding before so we thought that it would be really fun for them to go. We got them all bundled up and headed out to Cedar Hills to sled.

Avery and Lacey hiked to the top of the hill…

…and sledded down!

Avery had a blast!

She went again…

…and again…

…and again!

Kaden and daddy headed up to the top of the hill.

Kaden didn’t know what to think about the whole sledding thing.

After going down once he was done! Maybe he will enjoy it more next year.

We had lots of fun with Lacey and Jake. Thanks for inviting us to go with you!
Front Runner Ride
by Janelle Call on Dec.28, 2012
Grandma Call invited us to take a ride on the Front Runner train. They just opened up a stop in Lehi so we decided to take it from there all the way to Ogden.

The kids had a blast sitting on the top floor of the train and looking out the window.

Uncle Landon and Uncle Blaze came too.

Two happy kids.

Uncle Landon’s friend’s son, Jaxon, came with us too. The three kids had a blast.

Kaden and Jaxon playing on the train.

Kaden loved sitting with Grandma Call and Uncle Blaze.

In Ogden there is a train station. The kids had fun looking at all of the trains from a long time ago.

After looking at the trains we had lunch at a little diner and then rode the front runner back home. We had a fun day. Thanks Grandma Call for taking us on this fun adventure.
Christmas Day
by Janelle Call on Dec.26, 2012
For Christmas this year we decided to get the kids gifts that they would enjoy and use throughout the whole year.

We decided on this drum set for Kaden. During the summer when Skyler performed with several members in our neighborhood in the band Kadem discovered the drumset. Ever since then he has gone down to the basement every chance he gets to play on thr drums. We knew it would be loud, but it would be something that he would love throughout the whole year.

We decided on this beautiful dollhouse for Avery. I always wanted a really nice dollhouse when I was younger so I wanted to be able to give Avery something I couldn’t have when I was younger. We knew that this would be something that she would love and use for years to come.

On Christmas morning we wokd the kids up and walked them to the stairs. WE then ran down the stairs and got the camera ready to capture their first glimpse of their presents.

Avery was so excited!

There goes Kaden!

Kaden loved his drums.

WE got each child one other gift. Kaden got a Tag Junior.

Avery got a game called “Pickles to Pickles”.

My mom gave us these cute pajamas and many more amazing gifts. I love Kaden’t pose. He is such a cutie!

We had a very fun day filled with family. Thanks everyone for making our Christmas so memorable. We love you all!
Christmas Eve
by Janelle Call on Dec.26, 2012
Christmas Eve this year was spent with the Call family.
While waiting for dinner to be ready Lacey and Avery made snowflakes.

We had a yummy dinner of fondue, cheesy potatoes, rolls, and more. Then we opened our Christmas pajamas and all got changed and ready to open presents.
Kaden LOVED his Buzz Lightyear pagamas!

Avery was in charge of handing out presents to everyone. She did an amazing job. This year she was able to read all of the names without help.

My cute kids in their pajamas.

I just love Kaden’s cheesey grin.

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. Thanks grandma for all of our gifts and for making the night so fun!
Snowy Day
by Janelle Call on Dec.15, 2012
We finally got some snow!

Avery and Kaden were so excited to go out and help daddy shovel the driveway and sidewalk.

My wonderful husband and his cute little helpers.

Avery has been wanting to build a snowman for a couple of years. We did not get very much snow last year. She was so excited to finally have enough snow to build a snowman.

Both kids loved helping daddy.

The finished product.

Avery had fun posing with our snowman.

My cute family.

We have been loving the snow this year!
Tying Shoes
by Janelle Call on Dec.05, 2012
Avery’s homework assignment for tonight was to learn how to tie her shoes. She was a very fast learner; it only took her a few tries to get it right.
